What You can do?

If you are a:

Consumer - Stop buying fish from unsustainable sources, e.g. (http://www.msc.org or Seafood Choice Initiative)

 

Fisher – Stop fishing spawning aggregations and take fish at non-aggregating times

 

Fisheries or conservation manager – Include spawning aggregation sites and/or times into your management planning

 

Scientist – Undertake research. Help us to find out more about this important biological event

 

Diver – Report to us when you observe any fish aggregations or fishing on spawning aggregations

 

Teacher – Teach your students about fish aggregations as a critical process which numerous fish populations depend on
